The girl and I did take-out tonight from Segovia, our local Spanish restaurant. It’s a treat we allow ourselves about once a month, usually on a Thursday or Friday. (We live just up the street.) If you’re planning to visit Toronto, you gotta go to this place. Hearty entrees and tapas, great sauces, good portions, senisble prices, and kid-friendly too.
Oh, and did I mention the decor. It’s a blast. For a virtual, go here. I love going into this place in the dead of winter.
They used to have Spanish dancers on the weekend but I don’t think they do anymore. Above, a snapshot of one of the cancelled Saturday flamenco nights. Now I’m really sorry we missed this. We were always planning to go and never quite made it.
